Visualize! Prioritize! Focus! Attack!

This is Cathy, a comic strip character that I avidly read during high school, and rediscovered in the 90s when I became a newspaper reader again. In this strip, Cathy is listening to a motivational tape, learning to take charge of her future. However, once her mother calls her at her busy office, the lesson goes out the window. I can relate to this lesson very much. My weakness is in the visualization; dreaming of what I want from life. I’m much more passive, reacting sensibly to what’s happening rather than actively making it happen.
Fast forward to 2012:
Seventeen years later & no improvement. Cathy, I have failed you.
