This postcard was created for a fundraising event for supporting art therapy for women with cancer. The organizer did not want to go down the obvious ‘pink-ribbons’ road, so I went with a brush-stroke shape that suggested a ribbon, and went on the purplier side of pink for the background. She was quite pleased the the event was sold-out — standing room only.

The event name comes from an Oscar Wilde quote:  “Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.”
