My friend Patti recommended this postcard-sharing website to me earlier this month. It’s a 21st century update on the pen-pal concept. You can send postcards to random strangers across the globe. When a postcard is received, the unique identifying code must be registered to let the sender know it has been received. Patti is already calculating the odds that we will swap postcards. Who knows?
